Modern Arnis is the most recognized of the Filipino martial arts in the world. This art is the brain child of Grandmaster Remy A. Presas. Filipino martial arts were on the edge of extintion, when Professor Presas adapted modern training methods and new teaching concepts to the very brutal art of his home land. Datu Hartman (the Grandmaster’s top student) has designed a comprehensive training program for those interested in becoming proficient practitioners or certified teachers of the  Filipino Martial  arts.

The Modern Arnis Apprentice Program

This course is designed as an advanced instructor program. It will help teachers fine tune the training they receive at camps and seminars. Participants will learn  basic theory and advanced applications in the following areas:

Dumog - Grappling

Sibat - Filipino Staff

Kuntao - Filipino Karate

Gunting - Limb Destructions

Mano Y Daga-  Knife training

The program offers regular training at the World Modern Arnis Headquarters and the possibility of specially arranged training at alternative sites.

Each apprentice camp will offer individual attention and lessons tailored to the needs of each participant.
